BRÜCKEREI #3 invites choreographers and professional dancers to dive into a collaborative process of improvisation, experimentation, and choreographic development within a shared research-driven platform.

BRÜCKEREI is a mentored choreographic development platform that brings together a diverse group of dance practitioners from Switzerland and abroad for two weeks of process-oriented research and artistic exchange.

Dedicated to the art of choreography in an inclusive and collaborative context, the platform aims to contribute to the sustainable development of artistic practices while fostering a culture of shared creation. BRÜCKEREI #3 offers participants time and a supportive space to explore new choreographic ideas, develop creative processes, and challenge their artistic imagination.

This third edition, mentored by Swiss award-winning performer, choreographer, and teacher Thomas Hauert, will focus on improvisation as a mode of creation and performance.

For this edition, we are looking for:
– 3 choreographers (1 local, 1 national, 1 international)
– 12 Swiss-based professional dancers of all kinds

Hosted at Tanzhaus Zürich, BRÜCKEREI #3 fosters a process-oriented mindset where inspiration is stimulated, failure is embraced, and experimentation is encouraged.
