Open call for international contemporary dance performances at the International Dance Festival New Orleans.

The International Dance Festival New Orleans (IDFNOLA.com) is excited to invite international (non-USA) dance artists and performance groups to apply for our upcoming festival, taking place September 10-13, 2026. We are seeking compelling contemporary dance works, 20-30 minutes in length, that embody artistic innovation and cross-cultural collaboration. We are accepting work for black box spaces and non-traditional spaces such as a warehouse or gallery space. Selected artists will receive housing, technical support, and a modest performance fee. Please submit your performance details via the provided link by April 30, 2026. Decisions will be announced in mid May.

IDFNOLA is dedicated to fostering cross-cultural collaboration and artistic innovation in contemporary dance. Our mission is to provide a dynamic platform for local and international dance artists to present, teach, and inspire through performances, masterclasses, and community engagement. We aim to enrich the cultural fabric of New Orleans by making contemporary dance accessible to all, promoting diversity, and supporting the professional growth of dance artists.
